I don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but this arguing is pointless. In my humble opinion, unlike some American cars, I believe Harley's are a quality product. I would probably have one if it didn't cost 2.5 times my Savage to buy a Sporster. I have to admit that I have only owned Jap bikes (Honda and Suzuki) and I get frustrated by the arrogance of HD owners, but you have to understand, that's part of the image and marketing. Are HD owner's better than us? NO, but the HD company would want them to believe this. Are their bike's better than ours, well, it's probably like everything else, it has it's pros and cons… I have not had any problems at all with my bike. It seems to be a quality product and I like my savage, and when it comes down to it, those two things are most important.
